The transmission is the backbone of your Grand Cherokee. It's responsible for transmitting large quantities of torque from your V8 or 3.0L EcoDiesel powerplant. That much torque generates a lot of heat, and if that heat isn't dissipated, it can destroy your transmission. The transmission cooler does a good job of keeping trans fluid temperatures in check, but only if the fluid can reach it. The stock cooling system of the 8HP transmission utilizes an in-line thermal bypass valve that controls fluid flow to the transmission cooler. The purpose of this valve is to prevent transmission fluid from flowing to the cooler until it reaches operating temperature. The thermostat inside this valve is prone to failure, however, and when that happens, the fluid never flows to the cooler, and the transmission can overheat. That's why Mishimoto has developed a thermal bypass valve upgrade for your 2016-2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Returns are eligible for up to 14 days from delivery of items. Accepted refunds can take up to 7-10 business days to process. All refunds are subject to a 25% restocking fee, if opened. Customer may be responsible for return shipping. If 14 days have gone by since your item was delivered, unfortunately we can’t guarantee you a refund or exchange. We reserve the right to deny any return request, based on provided information.

Alliance Racing is not responsible for ensuring part fitment. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure the parts being ordered are the correct fitment for the vehicle intended. Alliance Racing will not accept any returns for incorrect fitment after product is opened.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
