This makes the Expansion Pack both cost-effective and an easier installation as it doesn't require complete removal of the leaf spring main leaf from the spring hanger and shackle. The additional leaves included in the pack are designed to optimize ride quality and reduce axle wrap compared to lift blocks. The design also shifts the overload transition point to improve small bump compliance.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAPPLICATION NOTE #514: When installing in conjunction with 2.5-3\" front lift ICON recommends replacing OE rear blocks with 1\" rear blocks (ICON part # 191201) and 12\" U-bolts (ICON part #s 37004 or 67004, depending on year). 2\" bump stop spacers will also be required (ICON part # 61002).
