Important note regarding True Rear Coilovers
True Rear Coilovers require Rear Toe Links, as you will be deleting the rear OEM Spring Bucket with a true rear coilover setup.

BC Racing Coilovers NEW DS Series is perfect for street driving and occasional road course duty. With easily accessible adjustment knobs for fine tuning your compression/rebound and separately adjustable ride height, having a performance coilover system couldn’t be any easier. You choose how low or high you want your vehicle, no preset ride height here, and patented concave lower locking ring keeps it locked in. Ride height is adjusted by raising and lowering the shock body; this maintains the same ideal damper stroke at ALL ride height levels for the best ride under any conditions. The pillowball mount option provides the most available feedback possible from your suspension and to sharpen your steering response. All this while providing a strong, attractive looking coilover system.

The DS series BC Racing Coilovers use a large 44mm diameter piston in a 53mm diameter damper body to maximize oil capacity. As the damper unit operates the oil contained within heats up. The viscosity of oil changes as it's temperature varies which can lead to changes in the damping characteristics of the unit.

BC Racing Coilovers use a very high quality oil with their coilovers but go that extra mile to maximise performance and build their BR range with a large 53mm diameter damper body. This increases the capacity of the unit which increases the volume of oil which in turn reduces the peak temperature and significantly improves damper performance.

Designed to Maximize Driver Feel

BC Racing Coilovers new proprietary digressive piston design offers increased dampening force at low piston velocities while maintaining a linear damper feel at higher piston velocities. One of the greatest advantages of increased low-speed damping force relates to what the driver feels, e.g roll, pitch, dive, and quick weight transitions on technical road courses. This is the key difference between the BC Racing BR series and DS series, but makes the biggest difference where it counts!

Spring rates for the front are 10kg/mm and 8kg/mm for the rear.

Custom spring rates are available. You can request custom spring rates by entering the rates you want in the special instructions box after clicking add to cart. Spring rates up to 18K are available in BC Springs. Rates higher than 18K will require Swift spring upgrade.

All extreme low kits, swift springs, and custom rates are considered custom builds and will have a lead time of 3-4 weeks before shipping.

We highly recommend adding the Rear Damping Extenders for Z and G cars. The rear damping adjuster is hidden under panels and can't be adjusted without removing the panels. With the extenders, you can relocate them to an easily-accessible spot.
