We developed these springs through multiple rounds of track and street testing to land on a ride height and spring rate combination that changes how the car drives, not just how it looks. Ride height drops 21 mm (0.83 in) up front and 24 mm (0.94 in) out back, while spring rate climbs 45% front and 61% rear. The car rolls less, rotates more willingly on corner entry and stays composed through fast transitions, with ride quality that remains comfortable every day.
Measured on a US-spec 2022 MK8 Golf R (DCC). OEM vs APR center-of-wheel-to-fender (CF): Front 365 mm vs 344 mm (-21 mm). Rear 367 mm vs 343 mm (-24 mm). Spring rate: Front 220 vs 319 lbs/in (+45%). Rear 278 vs 448 lbs/in (+61%).
