The all-new AutoTecknic Dry Carbon Competition Front Aero Lip for the Corvette C8. Manufactured using 100% genuine 3K Twill-Weave (2X2) Carbon Fiber
this lip is finished with multiple high-gloss UV-resistant clear coatings. Following the weight-saving principles of motorsport ideals
we utilize a vacuum forming process (autoclave) to produce this lip with superior strength and fitment. This lip only weighs a whopping 370 grams!
Dry carbon is the highest-quality version of carbon fiber products that are produced. Dry carbon fiber's name comes from its manufacturing process. Dry carbon fiber is formed using a "pre-preg" or impregnated piece of carbon materials. This piece of carbon is first placed into a mold and then into a sealed autoclave to properly cure. This method creates the least amount of waste and forms a lighter version of carbon than the "wet" method. The autoclave vacuuming process of making dry carbon means fewer pinholes and virtually no air pockets in the carbon.
