Product details
Closed yoke profile · Model 3 / Model Y
This replacement wheel brings a low, rectangular yoke profile to the listed legacy Model 3 and pre-Juniper Model Y production groups. Choose the vehicle build, grip material and airbag-cover configuration separately.
Fitment is factory and date specific
The Model Y options are separated by factory because the relevant wheel configuration and changeover timing can differ. Confirm the build location and production date before ordering.
| Vehicle | Selector | Boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Model 3 | 2017–2023.8 | Legacy Model 3 only; Model 3 Highland is not included. |
| Model Y · USA | 2020–2025.02 | US-built pre-Juniper vehicles within the listed production range. |
| Model Y · China | 2021.09–2025.02 | China-built pre-Juniper vehicles within the listed production range. |
| Model Y · Germany | 2022.04–2025.02 | Germany-built pre-Juniper vehicles within the listed production range. |
Not for Model 3 Highland or Model Y Juniper. If the vehicle's factory or production month is uncertain, verify it in the vehicle information or with TESERY before checkout.

The change is more than visual
Removing the upper arc opens the sightline toward the display and gives the cabin a more technical profile. It also removes the familiar top hand position used on a round wheel.
Good fit for: drivers who actively want the yoke interaction—not only the appearance. If you frequently use the top of a round wheel, consider that habit before changing.
Build the correct configuration
The vehicle selector is labeled “Default by heated function.” Match the exact production group so the wheel, connectors and heating configuration correspond to the car. No fixed warm-up time is promised.
Black leather has a smoother, easier-wipe surface. Alcantara has a softer, more tactile finish but benefits from gentler, more frequent cleaning.
“No” means a new airbag cover is not supplied; reuse the compatible original cover. The leather and Alcantara cover options add the corresponding cover with “TESLA” lettering.
Airbag module: every configuration reuses the vehicle's compatible original driver-airbag module. The selectable cover is not an airbag. Confirm the original airbag, connectors and cover condition before disassembly.
What the gallery demonstrates
The product imagery shows the closed yoke frame, dual scroll-control layout, matching front trim and the center opening before an airbag module and cover are installed.

Product-specific evidence
This listing currently displays a 5.0 rating from 50 product-specific reviews. The most useful feedback is the detail—not the score alone.
A verified owner in Hungary reported full compatibility with a MY24 Berlin-built vehicle—supporting the need to choose the Germany production group.
A Model Y owner noted that the yoke took a few days to adjust to before it became familiar. That is a more realistic expectation than “instant comfort.”
Model 3 owners specifically mention the leather surface, airbag-cover fit and heating in cold-weather use. Review the latest entries below for the closest vehicle match.
Installation decision
Many Model 3/Y owners complete a steering-wheel swap themselves. The work still involves the driver airbag, center fastener, electrical connectors, control alignment and a centered post-installation check.
Independent Model 3/Y installation reference; the wheel and included parts shown are not this exact package. Review the applicable Tesla Model 3 or Model Y service manual before work begins.
Use a qualified installer if any airbag, connector, fastening, control-alignment or steering-center step is unfamiliar. Stop driving if there is looseness, an airbag warning, an off-center wheel, unusual noise, or any horn, control or heating fault.

Before you order
No. This listing covers legacy Model 3 through 2023.8 and the listed pre-Juniper Model Y production groups through 2025.02. Highland and Juniper require a different listing.
Tesla used different wheel configurations and changeover timing across US, China and Germany production. Choose both the build region and the listed production range.
No. Reuse the vehicle's compatible original driver-airbag module. “Airbag Cover” refers only to the outer cover; choosing “No” means no new cover is supplied.
The vehicle options are configured “Default by heated function.” Correct operation still depends on selecting the exact vehicle configuration and completing the correct electrical installation. No fixed heat-up time is promised.
No. The missing upper arc changes hand placement, especially during parking and tight turns. Many owners adapt, but the format is a preference rather than a universal ergonomic improvement.
Warranty treatment depends on the region, vehicle terms and cause of a specific fault. TESERY cannot guarantee an aftermarket modification will never affect coverage. Keep the original parts and consult Tesla when coverage is a concern.
Configured or personalized wheels may be made for one customer, and installed products generally have restricted non-quality return eligibility. Verify fitment and options before ordering, keep the product uninstalled until checked, and review the current refund policy.
