Model year ranges do not resolve every production change. Send clear photos of the front and rear of the original wheel plus the VIN’s factory indicator when fitment is uncertain.
Three choices create eight live combinations
Vehicle, heating and middle trim are separate decisions.
No or Glossy carbon fiber
This option concerns the visible middle trim—not the driver-airbag module.
- “No” means transfer/reuse compatible original trim as required
- Glossy carbon changes the supplied trim appearance
- Buttons and controls must be confirmed for the chosen configuration
Airbag is not included.
The compatible original driver-airbag module must be transferred. A selected middle trim panel is not an airbag and should never be described as one.
Shape trade-off
The instrument view opens; the 12-o’clock grip disappears.
The open upper profile can expose more of the driver display area, but it removes the familiar top hand position used on a round wheel. Parking, U-turns and hand-over-hand steering require deliberate adaptation.
No handling or safety-performance claim
Changing wheel shape does not increase steering-system capability, road feedback or crash safety. The vehicle’s steering ratio and chassis remain unchanged.
Low-speed turns
Practice large steering inputs in a safe, empty area before normal traffic.
Control reach
Confirm scroll wheels, buttons, stalk functions and hand clearance after installation.
Local rules
Yoke/open-top wheel legality and inspection requirements vary by jurisdiction.

The work involves the driver airbag, electrical connectors, steering controls, trim transfer, central fastening and post-installation function checks. Professional installation is recommended; experienced owners can review the video and official Tesla service information before deciding.
- Disconnect and handle the airbag only according to the exact Tesla service procedure
- Do not copy torque values from a different model or build
- Confirm wheel centering and full lock-to-lock clearance
- Test horn, scroll controls, buttons, lights and warning status while parked
- Verify heated function only when the “Yes” configuration was selected
- Do not drive with looseness, warning lights, noise or any control fault

Is the driver airbag included?
No. Transfer the compatible original driver-airbag module. Middle trim and airbag are different components.
Does “Retain Heated Function: Yes” guarantee the same heating performance?
It specifies a heating-retention configuration for compatible vehicles; no fixed temperature, warm-up time or identical-to-OEM feel is promised.
Does it fit Model 3 Highland or Model Y Juniper?
No option for either refresh generation is currently listed.
Will installing it automatically void the Tesla warranty?
Warranty treatment depends on jurisdiction, warranty terms and whether an aftermarket part caused the reported issue. No blanket “no effect” guarantee is made; retain original parts and installation records.
