Style 25 replacement steering wheel
A carbon-fiber sport shape for the Model 3 or pre-Juniper Model Y.
This is a replacement steering-wheel assembly—not a slip-on cover. Its flat-bottom profile combines visible carbon-fiber sections, perforated black synthetic-leather grip areas, red stitching and a red center mark.

Step 1 — Confirm fitment
Choose by model, production period and factory.
The Model Y option is based on where the vehicle was built—not where it was delivered or where you live. Match the wording in the selector exactly.

Not compatible with: Model 3 Highland, Model Y Juniper, Model Y produced from 2025.03 onward, or any vehicle outside the four selector options above.
Find the Model Y factory from the VIN
Find the VIN at the lower driver-side corner of the windshield, on the driver door-pillar label or under Controls > Software. The 11th character identifies the assembly plant:
AAustin, USA
FFremont, USA
CShanghai, China
BBerlin, Germany
Helpful cross-check: VINs beginning with LRW indicate Shanghai and XP7 indicate Berlin. 5YJ and 7SA are used for US production; use the 11th character to distinguish the US plant. See Tesla's official VIN identification guide.
Step 2 — Understand the options
Two selections change what you receive.
Retain heated function
Choose “Yes” only when you want the wheel configured to retain heating.
For Shanghai- and Berlin-built Model Y variants, the current selector offers “Yes” only. For Model 3 and US-built Model Y, choose “No” or “Yes” to match the function you want to retain.
Middle trim panel
Choose “Matte carbon fiber” if you want the pictured three-spoke trim.
When “No” is selected, do not assume the matte carbon-fiber middle trim shown in some photos is included. Your original compatible trim may need to be transferred.
Before checkout: verify all three selections—vehicle, heated function and middle trim panel. If any item is uncertain, contact TESERY with the VIN and a clear photo of the current steering wheel before ordering.

Installation and safety
Watch the installation videos, then decide whether to DIY.
Many owners install this steering wheel themselves. Before disassembly, watch the installation references below and assess whether you are comfortable removing the original wheel, handling the airbag module, transferring vehicle components, reconnecting electrical parts and following the applicable fastening requirements. If any step is unfamiliar, choose a technician experienced with Tesla steering wheels and supplemental restraint systems.
Verify the supplied configuration before disassemblyConfirm the vehicle, factory, heated-function selection, middle trim and visible finish against the order.
Transfer the original components correctlyThe original airbag and applicable controls, connectors and trim must be handled and refitted according to the vehicle configuration and service procedure.
Check mechanical alignment and fasteningConfirm the wheel is centered and that the steering-wheel fastener and transferred parts have been installed to the applicable service specification.
Test every function before normal drivingCheck the horn, steering-wheel controls, heating when selected, steering alignment and the airbag warning indicator.
Stop and inspect the installation if there is an airbag warning light, loose movement, unusual noise, off-center steering or any control, horn or heating fault. Do not continue normal driving until the cause has been corrected.

Style 25 steering-wheel FAQ
Is this a steering-wheel cover or a replacement wheel?
It is a replacement steering-wheel assembly. It does not wrap over the original rim like a slip-on or sew-on cover.
Does it fit Model 3 Highland or Model Y Juniper?
No. The current options cover Model 3 2017–2023.8 and the listed pre-Juniper Model Y factory/date groups through 2025.02. Do not order this page for Model 3 Highland, Model Y Juniper or Model Y produced from 2025.03 onward.
How do I know whether my Model Y was made in the USA, China or Germany?
Check the 11th character of the VIN: A is Austin, F is Fremont, C is Shanghai and B is Berlin. The delivery country does not establish the production factory.
Is the airbag included?
No. The original vehicle airbag must be transferred. Product photos showing an installed center airbag illustrate the finished appearance; the airbag is not part of the package.
What happens if I choose “No” for the middle trim panel?
The optional matte carbon-fiber three-spoke trim is not included. Do not use photos of that trim as a package reference when “No” is selected; applicable original trim may need to be transferred.
Can I install it myself?
Many owners choose DIY installation. Watch the installation videos on this page before taking the vehicle apart, then evaluate your tools and experience with steering-wheel removal, airbag handling, electrical connections, component transfer and fastening requirements. If you are not confident about any step, use an installer familiar with Tesla steering wheels and supplemental restraint systems.
Will an aftermarket steering wheel affect the Tesla warranty?
Warranty treatment depends on the region, the vehicle's warranty terms and the cause of a specific fault. This page cannot guarantee that a modification will never affect warranty coverage. Keep the original parts and consult Tesla or a qualified local advisor when warranty coverage is a concern.
What should I know about customization and returns?
Steering-wheel orders are configured to the selected vehicle and options, and personalized requests may be made specifically for one customer. Non-quality returns for customized or installed products are generally restricted. Verify the VIN, factory and all options before ordering, keep the product uninstalled until the configuration is checked, and review the current refund policy.
Confirm the vehicle and factory before choosing the functions.
Select the exact model/date group first, then verify heated function and middle trim panel.
Fitment has not been independently verified for your vehicle. Confirm the manufacturer application against your year, make, model, trim, and modifications before ordering.
